Hello there!! My name is Victoria aka vrk, and I am an independent software developer who loves paper. I love print, zines, stickers, stationery, and, of course, journaling! I keep a collection of physical journals, and I also run an indie print magazine called Pouch.
Before I made Journal Helper, I noticed that a lot of "software for journalers" tends to be in the form of a digital journal -- this is totally valid, but I'm a paper lover! 😆 I respect analog surfaces equally to digital ones, and I personally have no desire to replace my analog journals with digital approximations. That said, I still think there's lots of room for technology to help with physical journaling -- and that's where Journal Helper comes in! 💞
Journal Helper is intended to be a suite of free tools to help you create and express with paper. As of this writing, I only have 2 tools published -- two tools to help you print photos for your journal! -- but I hope to eventually create lots of little software tools for paper lovers. I would love to also branch out beyond journaling tools and create things like card makers, zine makers, calendar makers, etc -- all intended for hobbyist home printers, and all free.

I am a solo creator and I'm 100% independent and self-funded! This means I work veeeeeery slowly compared to your average tech company lol, but this gives me a lot of freedom and flexibility for how I build my software.
I don't use any AI in the making of Journal Helper (nor do I use it for anything I make), and Journal Helper itself does not have any AI features.
